Sunshine Scholars Internship
& Practicum Program
Our founder’s success during and post-undergrad is shaped by the rich opportunities,
academia, and relationships she's encountered along the way: ALL of
which she gives major credit to her alma mater for cultivating.
The Sunshine Scholars Internship & Practicum Program was created to provide opportunities that encompass the above and more allowing students the chance to learn in real-world environments,
create meaningful work, apply what they’re learning, and grow into the professionals they’re becoming.
Through hands-on experiences, professional relationships, portfolio-building opportunities, and exposure to the realities of the creative and business world, Sunshine Scholars are empowered
to materialize their knowledge and confidently carry it into their careers.

Student Learning Outcomes/Objectives:

Develop integrated marketing expertise through diverse opportunities across the health, wellness, and beauty industries, strengthening skills in marketing, communications, media, legal considerations, and entrepreneurship.

Gain real-world professional experience by working within established marketing, communications, media, legal, and entrepreneurship standards.

Build career-ready skills through practical experiences in project management, client relationship development, professional communication, and mock interviewing.

Cultivate meaningful professional relationships through networking opportunities with health, wellness, and beauty professionals and the opportunity to establish quality professional references.

Complete at least 3 mock interviews, each followed by individualized feedback to strengthen interviewing skills, confidence, and professional presence.

Develop and refine a professional resume and portfolio, including personalized feedback to support continued improvement of resume content and project samples.

Build a lasting professional relationship with Ravyn, who is committed to supporting Sunshine Scholars beyond their internship or practicum term and, when possible, continuing to provide guidance, encouragement, connections, and career support as they grow.
Locations: Atlanta, GA, Dallas, TX, Knoxville, TN and Memphis, TN
(All remote with some in-person opportunities)
Prerequisites: Defined by specific major
